Rihanna scores 26th top ten hit #fourfiveseconds
With the release of the new single ‘fourfiveseconds’, I couldn’t tell you what on earth the song sounds like beginning to end because I have no interest in it whatsoever. I’m not even entirely sure whose song it is, whether it’s Rihanna feat. Ye and Paul McCartney or the other way round, what I do know is that since the 57th annual Grammy Awards took place about a week ago (week ago), the song has earned RiRi her 26th top ten hit.
After the trio took centre stage for a performance I didn’t watch, the song moved up nine places on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, from fifteen to six. This also makes the song her 21st top ten hit as the lead artist. I guess that answers my question to ‘whose song it is’. I guess I’m going to like it probably once it’s old but right now I don’t care too much for it.
Still with no album in sight, no release date announced Rihanna has created quite a buzz without doing much. It goes to show that her return is anticipated, although I think she should just stick to modelling, but what do I know? Congratulations to her, that Rihanna reign just won’t let up!
